By following the will of God
a course of life is laid
at the point of one’s salvation
a path to God is made

one of which no other can tread
the calling fits the need
obedience now shall be required
for Jesus Christ to lead
____
by taking one to teach His truth
imparting wisdom rare
a true disciple will obey
in loving God with care
____
putting forth an effort to learn
the child of God believes
what the mind of Christ will teach him
so that the Lord is pleased
____
when at the end of life on earth
upon the road that’s trod
one sees the work of His Spirit
their eyes shall see their God
____
so thus the path to God is such
where one can choose to go
in victory of great rewards
or nothing much to show
____
a true disciple of the Lord
will know God’s will in time
one’s attitude will show the way
when God controls the mind
